This waste reducer can be used to connect a waste pipe into 110mm soil pipe.
When a waste pipe is connected directly to a 110mm soil pipe via a short run of pipe in conjunction with a boss adapter, there is always the possibility of trap failure due to induced siphonage.
To guard against this it is always safest to use an anti-syphon trap on the sink, basin or bath that is being connected.
Waste reducers have a plain spigot end to enable them to be connected via push fit into the ring seal socket of another fitting or pipe as required.
